Dosed XLM on 4/3
Ammonia >.02 no2 .2 no3 0
Ammonia >.02 no2 .2 no3 >2 for 4/4 & 4/5 (dosed another 10ml on 4/5)

Usually the nitrogen cycle is started without fish. Ntrifying bacteria like Dr. Tim’s, Turbo Start or BioSpira are added along with ammonium chloride to the bacteria for several days.

What is the nitrite level in your system?

I added microbacter start xlm like the 3rd day the fish was in there so the bacteria could have something to start on. But my nitrites are .01 according to Red Sea

If I'm reading it right, you have ammonia and nitrites showing up but no nitrates. So no, your cycle is not complete.

No, your cycle is absolutely not done. You should add some sort of nitrifying bacteria to cycle the tank, as ammonia is harmful to fish, and you should disregard any future advice from wherever told you to do a fish-in cycle.

You set up a tank and 4 days later you have fish in it? :face-with-rolling-eyes:
Good luck.
