i don't view 4 as high, wouldn't keep less
that's ideal nitrate for the corals in my tank

My own trate is a bit higher I predict 10 ppm we are about to find out friend John bringing over hq nitrate test soon

Thank you. I'm guessing mine is maybe about where yours is. 4 PPM was as dark as the color went on test and I'm above that.

this was good detail on skip cycling, a handy handy follow up would be to surprise kick up the thread in august after a brief water change where you had to disturb things a bit and see if nitrite spiked

id be curious to know how that test you have reads over time, long past known cycling times
