Hey, Just a general question. If I take out the saltwater from a tank and move it, what effects would that have and would I need to wait more for the cycling process. Or just add more saltwater and it will be fine. It's a 75 gallon tank and I want to transport it an hour drive.

Should be fine really in buckets and/or tubs. Won't need to cycle assuming you're using same rock/sand. If you replace sand (which isn't a bad idea as moving sand can get really gross) and same rock you're fine as well.

If you end up delaying install more than a couple hours...a small pump and/or heater isn't a terrible idea as it'll speed up the rebuild and prevent any die off.

General advice on any move. Plan for the worst and hope for the best. Keeping things alive gets tricky if out of system more than an hour or two. Keep everything live (rock/fish) as close to normal as possible during move. Have spare heaters and/or pumps/air pumps to keep oxygenated if something goes wrong.
