So I finally set up my reefer 750 build it’s been up and running nearly 3 weeks how long should i wait till I put fish in it I used fritz turbo start live bacteria the refrigerated version

Gonna get a test kit today but I figured adding a fish or 2 would help the cycling process thnks

You dont want to add fish then have them die because of an ammonia spike. I would get an ammonia test kit and some Prime just in case. I think your fine but a backup plan is always a good thing. When things go south its never at a good time.

Prime doesn't hurt the live bacteria but I wouldn't bother with it. Test first, don't dump something in the tank unless you have a test that shows you need to.
