Maybe a dumb question but does it matter what shape the storage containers are for a saltwater mixing station?

I have space for 2 tanks with max of 20 inches depth from the wall they will be placed on. I found 2 options: 50 gallon cylinder or 55 gallon rectangle.

Perceived pros/cons of cylinder:
- (Pro) better flow/mixing due to shape
- (Con) more difficult to add fittings for RODI and mixing plumbing

Perceived pros/cons for rectangular:
- basically the opposite of cylinder

Does it matter?

Sqaures have more volume per circles given the same bounding area.
