Cyno or dino

Can anyone help identify if this is cynobacteria or Dinoflagellates, and how do I get rid? I think it maybe dinos from what I’ve read. I don’t have a UV steriliser and would like to hold of getting one at the moment. Is there any treatments anyone would recommend.

The colour on the photos is a little deceiving. It’s more brown than purple/red. The rocks look like that after I have used a turkey baster to blow off as much as I can.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are air bubbles at certain times of the day. Nitrates and phosphates are very low almost 0

Se i valori sono a 0 la causa sono quelli spesso acque povere creano quel problema se puoi rimuovile e aumenta sia il movimento che i valori,altre due cause potrebbero essere una luce errata o una scarsa biodiversità (assenza di copepodi o altro bentos che può aiutare il sistema)

Cyano unless it’s a total camera trick. But you may have both. Im seeing a lot of green on the rocks.

Is the tank new?

Do you have tweezers? Or if you use your hand, and lightly brush the top, does it pull away in clumps/sheets? If so then thats cyano. Looks like a wet red/brown paper towel disintegrated partially.

Dino’s will somewhat go away overnight when there are no lights, and looks more like “dirty sand”

Once you know for sure what you have, you can begin treatment.
