48 hrs later... the Ammonia levels are still low, meaning no (major) die-off of all that life on the rock.
If it stays this way another day or two, it will probably be time to get the second shipment!

That stuff is literally crawling w/ life. I was actually thinking of starting my next tank with man made rock but you may have changed my mind!

Very cool!! The scape looks great.
Thanks! :)

Yup! That's why I love this stuff.
And little to no cycle! Just boom... instant reef tank.
Wait till you see Part II. Just gotta wait for that stupid hurricane to get out of the gulf.

So you went with the old style tbs rock. Did you consider the new stuff? The Walt Smith 2.1 or whatever it is. That had the to be the most exciting time in setting up my oldest tank, just watching the life come back to the rock. Part two is always amazing. Well, my part one was pretty amazing too.

Really like the scape so far. I would almost leave it as is and let the corals do the rest, how much more rock are you getting?

There's a couple pieces of the original stuff in there but mostly its the Walt Smith 2.1

Thanks! Just a few more pieces to give me some options and maybe fill in a spot or two.
