Just a couple teaser screen grabs from some video taken of my Part 1 of "The Package" pick-up trip this morning. :D
Pics later and at some point, I'll have a video of the whole process.

Pics of the TBS sand and the "base rock"... About 15 lbs worth.
The "premium" stuff coming in the next shipment.

NICE!! I've been thinking about using their sand and some of their base rock in my new big reef. I know they have great stuff!

Oh ya, I remember you. I followed your 200g build. I loved that tank. And your fish room in the garage. You had the biggest ball of chaeto! Welcome back. I'm following. It's also nice to see someone step away from Neptune and run GHL. GHL is for professionals! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

you are braver than I. The thought of vermin and pest algae would keep me up at night.

That chaeto tank was awesome! And the fish room. I miss both.

I have NEVER had pest algae from TBS. Vermin... well, ya. You gonna get a few gorilla crabs. Maybe a mantis. All mostly harmless and not too hard to pick out when you see them. I've pulled out my share of mantis in the past without much effort. And in the meantime, they are pretty cool to watch. Haven't seen one in my last few shipments though. All the COOL critters/hitchhikers though make it all worth it. :D

Following. I remember you all the way back from Livingreef forums! :D
omg, that seems like foreverrrrr ago. lol

Got the tank unpacked and in place! I took some video of the unpacking that I'll put together and I'll get some detail pics later, but here's a couple pics of the tank in place. I need to hook up all the plumbing next. Then I can move on to installing other equipment. :)

This is my first experience with Cade and I have to say that so far I am very impressed. I've had Elos, Waterbox, Planet, Innovative Marine (25 lagoon)... so a pretty good breath of tank manufacturers. The tank itself feels very high quality. Very clean silicone work, basically non-existent visually. Clean, polished edges. White vinyl on the bottom. Even came with a screen top. The whole overflow area in back seems well thought out, and very clean as well. Lower and upper intake grates on the left side with output on the top right.

The stand is very impressive. All metal framing with a nice black finish. The doors are frameless black glass. The top is padded for the tank to sit on. 4 large leveling feet. The inner shelf is removable... something I couldn't find any info on in my research, so that's nice if I decide to not use it. I'm really not sure how I'm going to handle electronics yet.

And finally, the sump is glass, not acrylic. Everything about this tank is a beast!
Sump comes with 3 removable media baskets and one filter sock.

This setup was quite a bit more than Red Sea but I can see where the extra money went, for sure.
It's still far less than an Elos Diamond setup.
I'd say it's priced appropriately.

Also wanted to send a shout out to Cade and @AlgaeBarn customer service, specifically Samantha. I ordered through my LFS (FJW Aquarium in Houston) but was kept up to date, sent a bunch of info on what to expect for delivery, how to handle the delivery, sent tracking info, etc. And also had all my questions answered super fast while I waited. The only issue I had after delivery was realizing one of the hinge pins broke for the front door and Samantha was right on it, sending out a replacement.

Juno approves!
STRONG endorsement of Samantha... met her finally at Atlanta mini-MACNA - pleasure to work with

Good choice on the rock. Are you planning on using a combination of base and premium rock for the display?

What’s the plan for your cleanup crew?

Thanks!
It's "The Package", so Part II shipment will have the premium rock and the cleanup crew which consists of blue leg hermits, astrea snails, a cucumber, peppermint shrimp and a bristle star.

Also, i think i spotted a baby serpent in one of those pics above?
I know I saw a tiny bristle worm fall off one of the rocks when I was pulling them out of the bag but this has those distinct bands.
Here's a crop...

The tank is looking great! I love how clean everything looks. I feel your pain on the small stand. I am setting up a Red Sea 200 G2 and I have spent a ton of time planning and organizing everything to make the best use of space. How do you like the Octo Pulse? I have read good things.

what do you use to attach the power supplies and such to the cabinet? Also, do you have an ATO?
