Looks great. I just put a 3 Azure damels (great for pests), 12 astrea snails, 12 hermits in my set up and a frag of a green hammer coral from my main tank. All have lasted several days now. :)

still have not decided on a skimmer for it yet.

Glad things are going well.

Thanks!
I always liked those azure damsels, just for the color.
I had no idea they go after pests. What exactly do they do?

It's spring time!
That means time to go outside and shoot some land corals. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

And if you look closely at the first one, you'll find two little critters that look a bit like freshwater shrimp! LOL!

it's been about a year and half since I started this tank and it has FINALLY hit a good spot.
No more hair algae, no more bugs, parameters are actually stable, and SPS are starting to look better and beginning to get some growth.
Whoever said smaller tanks are easier is full of B.S.! :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Glad to see you're here. I just recently found this thread. I followed you over on RC for years. You might remember my build, it was a 200gallon Miracles that could be seen from 2 rooms. I think it was titled Rainforest (my office theme) to Reef. I converted it to a Freshwater planted tank after my husband had brain cancer and passed away 7 years ago. So after reading through this thread, I finally decided on the tank to get for my basement. I was pretty sure I wanted the 200EXT but went with IM's cube, the 112 Lagoon which I think in many ways was the right decision. So..... thank you for your help!! ;)

Hey man, my Schecter C1 Platinum and Ibanez Artwood are already way more guitar than my (lack of) newbie talent deserves. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:
