Ok so i decided to get the RKL to start and plan on adding Archon and the new modules as i go.
for what i need to and want to do this seems the best route.
Just controlling temp and adding salinity
so far very easy set up and is functioning like it should.;)

i ordered the slv2 archon salinity module and the new ph and salinity probe and the archon pb4 looks the same as old one but new blue sticker
and i have the older moon all hooked up and running
they should all work nicely with the archon when it arrives (say arrives i had to order that too couldnt waite)

ok everything hooked up now running no problems except the original wifi setup getting my router to work took a bit of time (3.35hours) but it works now didn't have to reset anything everything came up i did recalibrate the i temp ,temp, ph and salinity and orp probes for a fresh start .
i have to say i do miss the head unit for quick look at stuff especially at night ,hope they make the head unit functionable even if its just for screen.
I feel i made the right choice for what i need and want !
BEST CHOICE !
My friend also got the new apex and is having so much problems he has packed it up and sent back he is now getting the archon package with the pb8
