No, but surprisingly the side with skimmer stays higher for me. It's the side I have my ATO sensor on. I have a refugium on the other side but it seems to stay lower.

I'm thinking of getting this tank. Are you seeing any bowing of the front glass panel due to water weight? I'm seeing some mentions of it with the similar WB65 and was wondering if this tank also has it. Also, is there any type of emergency overflow protection incase filter socks or media baskets are clogged?

I took a level to the front glass. Vertically there was no bow. I did notice a very slight horizontal bow at the top of the glass but nothing at the middle of bottom where most of the weight is. It may have been there the whole time I'm not sure.

There's no emergency overflow but the back is higher than the sump dividers so I do think water would run over the sump divider glass into the sump chambers before it went out of the tank.

I've been battling high Phosphates and hair algae for a while. I've went from high 4s to 2-2.5 through water changes, reduced feeding and GFO. I just received my Santa Monica algae Scrubber so I'll see if the can get me below 1.0. I could use a CUC refresh too but the winter weather has thwarted a couple attempts of getting an order completed with Reef Cleaners.

When I added the Hippo Tang and Wrasse the Clown fish became very territorial. I tried acclimation box and rearranging the aquascape but it didn't help. I relocated the Clowns to the 29g with a bicolor Blenny and everyone seems much happier. I honestly didn't realize how much the other fish were scared of the clowns. Now everyone moves through the whole tank except for near the Gramma's cave. Now that my 29 isn't really an invert/coral QT I need to move the corals from there to the DT.

I'm in the planning stage of an upgrade. I want a large 6ft tank where my current tank sits but I need to evaluate the floor because it will sit parallel with the floor joists. I'm not sure I'm comfortable going the diy route. My hope is to be ready to purchase a tank around black Friday.

Interesting that you’re looking to upgrade. We have also been considering an upgrade from ours. We’re just finding the AIO aspect a little limiting/difficult and the lack of height and depth are also somewhat limiting with coral placement. We’re thinking about going with something around 48x20x20 range with a sump.

The thought of plumbing intimidates me but I really like fish that need bigger tanks. So a sump is a must. You're right that I feel limited by the AIO. I'm thinking I'll keep this tank and move it where I have a 29g set up now. I've put too much into it to get rid of it completely.

I'm still battling hair algae. I thought I was winning but then it came back. But I wanted to share a couple new corals. I got my first Torch and a St. Thomas mushroom in some coral auctions that I really like.

I gave the glass a good cleaning and snapped a picture. Tank has been on cruise control as I plan for an upgrade. I do have a lot of bubble algae currently so I added 2 emerald crabs last week.

I was really struggling with low pH and not getting much aeration out of my skimmer so I swapped in a tunze 9004 skimmer I took off a tank breakdown. It promptly worked for a day then died. So I tore into the WS-1 and found a lot of carbon ROX pellets stuck in the impeller. Using a dental flosser and some percussive encouragement I was able to clean it. Now it's a bubble producing machine and my pH is the highest it's been in months. I really should have checked that a while ago.
