From what I know and how I have my modules wired any aquabus ports can be used that will only determine the port name on the apex programming.

WAW pumps have to be connected either to the 1link module or the 1link ports on the EB832. There's no way to directly connect them to aquabus because they need more power.

I thought OP was asking about daisy chaining DOS to his system. He is powering the first one through 1link and connecting a second DOS using aquabus with separate power brick. In this situation would it matter where the aquabus cable was plugged into the modules??

I thought OP was asking about daisy chaining DOS to his system.

He was! I, on the other hand, was trying to do too many things at the same time .... and doing none of them well apparently. Been wrestling with my WAV pumps lately so have WAV on the brain clearly.
