Not sure if this is in the right section must it looks diy to me:) i do not have a sump so i am using a jebao 1200 lph pump to run a rowaphos then cheato reactor . At the mo the pump is on 1200 lph , Two questions do you think it needs to be on full and secondly have i go my reactors the right way round ? thanks

The chaeto is going to uptake nitrates and phosphates, so I'd probably run that first to let the chaeto take up as much as it can, and then let the Rowaphos work on whatever phosphate is left. That should make the Rowaphos last a bit longer, plus will keep the chaeto growth from being limited by the Rowaphos taking out too much phosphate ahead of it.

I don't run reactors myself, so maybe someone with more experience with those can say whether 1200 lph is a good flow rate.

Thank you for the advice i have changed the media round so fingers crossed the cheato will grow a little better than it has done
