Dalua Lights

What are everyone’s thoughts on the Dalua lights? I’m thinking about switching I just wanna know if it’s worth it? I have an old pair of echo tech 30s right now

Dalua seems to offer good performance for the price, especially if you’re lighting a larger tank or need multiple fixtures. From what I can see from reviews, a lot of people like the overall look and shimmer, and the built-in app control is convenient without needing extra hardware. For mixed reefs or smaller to mid-size tanks, they seem to do the job well.

That said, they’re still a newer brand compared to EcoTech. There’s less long-term data and fewer independent PAR tests out there, especially for deep or SPS-heavy tanks. EcoTech lights are proven.

So if your Echo Tech 30s are still working well and you’re happy with growth, switching to Dalua might not be a huge upgrade. But if you’re looking to refresh your setup, save some money, or like the Dalua look and features, they’re definitely worth considering.

Tank size and coral types will really make the decision.
