Damsel ID?

Can someone tell me about this damsel? I think it’s a talbot but I’m not positive. It’s labeled as an “Eyespot Red Damsel”.

Super cool looking fish and seems laid back in the store. However, it is a damsel after all. Any insight would be appreciated.

Semi aggressive, can become aggressive/territorial as they mature.

Talbots. Beautiful, and in my opinion, falling somewhere on the ‘nasty-ish to very nasty’ scale.

Yes, I suppose .... and who doesn’t love a FG reference. My five spend all of their time in one corner of the tank, occasionally venturing out .... only to be chased back.

Talbots IME are less aggressive than just about anything else, when I had them they used to get pushed around by the gobies
