Done my tests today

PH IS 8

Ammonia 2ppm

Nitrite 0

Nothing moving yet 2 doses of ammonium

Is this normal it seems to be just checking

Yes, normal. Dr. Tim’s can be slow to start. If the bacteria were accidentally frozen, might never see ammonia change.

No not frozen as far as I know
 
I would give it a few more days, just continue to follow the instructions as listed
 
Be prepared for a long wait. Dr Tims is slow and sometimes takers weeks. Add Fritz Turbo start if you want to get going faster:

Thanks all appreciate your responses I’m going to sit it out following the instructions
 
In my experience with Dr. Tim's the cycling period is 2-3x what's listed on the website.
