• MRC CR-1 Calcium Reactor

I apologize for my first post of my tank thread NOT having any pictures ... but I moved some stuff around this evening and stirred the water up a bit ... so I will get some new pics as soon as the water clears.

I have been thinking about adding a bigger Euro-Reef to this system ... I came across one as one of the LFS ... but it may just be the slightest bit too big for my sump ... so I was thinking either 1) go with an external skimmer or 2 ... add another sump ... to fit a larger skimmer.

Thank you very much! The Red Monti Cap ... although oh so common is my favorite piece in the tank! I hope the Leng Sy below it grows out as much as this one. :smile:

Thank you guys!!! The tank is definitely coming along nicely ... and yes Rev things are definitely starting to take off in the tank ... my ORA pieces are growing like wildfire now ... lol ... FWIW ... the ORA Scripps has new tips every single day it's ridiculous.

This set over mangroves I have had for nearly 5 months now ... since Thanksgiving. They have been doing great. I couldn't really get them to grow like this in my previous set ups ... probably something I was doing wrong.
