A few weeks ago, my ac went out. It's been in the 90-100s in NC, the tank was 87 during that time, the day it hit 102 outside, my tank was at 92. I was changing I've bottles 5x a day for almost 2 weeks before the new ac unit got put in. It's looked like this since. Been about 3 weeks now.

Yea that would do it. 92 is enough to wipe out the tank, it’s amazing it’s held on

Might help to turn the flow down slow for 15min or so and squirt some over the corals and let the Rroids settle towards them.

I actually did that earlier this afternoon. Left wavemakers, skimmer and filtration off for about 30 minutes.

I don’t do iodine myself, not sure gonis use iodine bar the disinfectant properties, but I don’t think that would help much.

Just do the food dip frequently, and leave it in the shade for a while. It might recover in a few months.

If I were in the same position, It wouldn’t hurt to try Coral Infection elimination which is a proprietary coral dip that is said to boost recovery and immunity.

I found pretty good success with it, but I can’t recommend it 100% as it is not scientifically proven. It’s supposed to be used in lieu of antibiotics

Coral infection elimination is a different type of dip. I suggest you look this one up.

Coral revive is more geared towards getting rid of bad hitchikers

It’s just new to our country

Fair fair. but it’s hard to convince people to try out something that just lists fish pancreas extract as one of the ingredients.

They’ll be less skeptical if it had more concrete ingredients haha

This may stand a chance of recovery. Goni can be hardy but also challenge the most experienced hobbyist.
Inadequate light will cause them to change color and even shrink and if there is a change in lighting you will have a means for determining issues. The same applies to water flow as too much flow will kill some of its cells and can start a reaction with other gonis within the tank. Moderate to medium flow keeps their tentacles swaying to keep debris off of them and deliver food in which is needed regularly. Adding aminos to the tank is a big plus for their health.
Some good foods to feed them are chopped krill, mysis shrimp, phyto and zooplankton. Im not a fan of powdered plankton foods as they can raise phosphates quickly but they work well with goni and similar coral, alveopora.
Assure no3 and po4 Not elevated. Also having some Manganese in the water helps them to reduce stress in general and its important to have Mag at 1300-1350 to help stabilize CA and ALK level consumption

Great info. This was my first goni that I won on an auction back in December. It was half the size it is now. Since it's still alive, I need to get this one back to it's former glory.
