I made the stupid mistake of not securing my rock with glue or epoxy so I do have an issue with it sliding down sometimes. This acro would be in the slide zone for the rock and I did have it slip a couple days ago. This morning im noticing the filaments out and this weird growth. Could it just be damage or does this look like bacteria

that does look like damage to me. keep an eye on it and you can snip it off if it starts to look worse.

bacteria will grow fast on damaged tissue, if it is dead though, then usually it will get cyano followed by green algae. if it isnt too bad, the coral will produce a lot of slime, kind of what your looks to be doing. it will be clearish white and will blow off easily.
