I received a haddoni from a major online site which was in very rough shape. I knew it wouldn't last long [emoji853]
Do I get rid of it tonight? Or give it overnight? They refunded my money obviously, but I'm stuck with this poor thing.

If it looks like it's dying, pull it. It will nuke your tank. I had an anemone die on me, and it wreaked havoc.

I pulled it late last night ☹️ hate to have any animal die, but nothing I could do. I got it from liveaquaria. To their credit, the refunded the money the moment I sent a photo and explained the problem.

Sorry it didn't work out bud. Are you going to try another one?

Thank you! Yeah I'm certain I will. I love Haddoni carpets. Have kept a few in the past. I'll buy an ultra green and assuming all goes well over some time, I'll spend some money on a purple/blue/red. The symbiotic relationship between clowns/haddoni is what attracted me to reef aquariums long ago.[emoji4]

I've attempted my LFS, but he never gets nice ones and apparently can't get one from his supplier. I gave a shot to liveaquaria, but once I'm ready to spend money on a colorful Haddoni I'll pay the crazy prices and get one from iBluewater. I've ordered from them and the know their carpets like nobody else and you pay a premium for that.

Yeah they are insanely high, but you can be certain that you'll get what you ordered and healthy. I agree they're insanely high, but they sell a lot of anemones.

There's a big difference between a green carpet and an ultra green carpet. The bright fluorescent Haddoni sell on other sites for $200+.

You have to treat them with antibiotics.
There's a really good article somewhere I'll look for it.
I know I know there's a thousand people that didn't treat their carpet with antibiotics but there's ten times the amount that didn't and lost the anemone.
Let me look for the article.

Oh my, ok. I just know that his is super awesome looking. But ive never kept them. Im affaird id kill it. But now u showed me this, i think his is an ultra. And he wants 199. Not 99. I was mistaken. I would definitely try the 99 first. Do they have the same needs? Care level?
