Death or molt

Ive had three emerald crabs for over 6 months all seemed fine then i found this tucked loosely upsidedown between rocks wen i shine a light on it i can kinda see thru the body but not the claws and havnt seen another large male walking around...is he dead or is this a molt?

Probably molt, wait for a day or two for the crab to show himself, they always hide after a mold, each time mine do this i think he s dead :p
