The poll allows multiple choices so choose the ones you like from the numbered entries below. The voting thread will close on Jan 31st 2026 at 11:59 pm EST.

Winner will be determined by this R2R Member voting by poll. In order to be eligible to have votes counted in the poll, voting members must have at least 25 meaningful posts and have been a member of R2R for at least 1 month by the time the poll ends (votes that do not meet this criteria may show in the poll but will be disregarded in the final count). In case of a tie, Team R2R will assist in picking a winner. Rules, deadlines and terms are subject to change at staff discretion at anytime.

I was really looking forward to be on this list this time, but whoever selects this pics should note that some aren’t even red or green. Why is that a red and green entry does not get selected but a none red or green does? I know It’s selfish of me and I’ll probably get chided for saying this but every time I participate I never mostly never get selected. It’s not being a sore loser but it feels like a there’s preferential selection. Just saying how I feel about this. Mind you they are good pics I am referring too but they aren’t red or green. Just saying, anyway Good luck to everyone else though. I’ll not be participating any further potm not that that it matters or has any bearing on future ones.

I’ve edited your post to remove some unnecessary personal remarks. Your submission was strong and was among the last considered before narrowing down to the 15 finalist shots. I’m sorry this caused any frustration—this decision was not personal nor based on preference. Wishing you the best of luck in future POTM entries if you choose to participate again.

Voted. My vote was admittedly due to the type of coral to some extent, although it is a fantastic photo.

As per potm rules:

" Soliciting votes, non-constructive criticism of submissions in the POTM thread or in the voting thread, challenging the Moderators' choice for the 15 finalists or the votes of other members, identifying which picture is yours or another member's submission in the voting thread... will result in your comments being automatically deleted and your submission being disqualified. This is to ensure a smooth POTM and voting process. im about to vote, but I think there shouldn't be any "finalists" it should be in normal photography contest format. first the judges go through and remove any photos that are just blatantly not the prompt. next its voting for the top say 30(if 30 where submitted, the first round would be all the photos that passed prelim "inspection"), then the top 15, then top 5, then finished.

Somebody brings this up every few months. In my view, nearly every other social media platform works on counting reactions fed into an algorithm. This has some upsides and some downsides. I personally have thrown photography up on Reddit, Instagram etc, and it does not set the world on fire. I appreciate the mods taking their time to curate this contest. It has a personal connection with all the participants that reaction driven photo sharing doesn't.
