Defective Profilux 4?

The original power supply worked if my Abyzz return pump was plugged directly to a wall outlet. When the Abyzz was plugged into my battery backup the Profilux 4 had interference and the controls on the P4 would not work. It took me a few days of trying different power plug location options before I figured out the exact configuration and device that was causing the interference. (not the greatest introduction to a new product :) The new power supply has better filtration but it still looks like a cheap power supply brick from China. The Abyzz is on the battery backup mainly to protect the Abyzz controller from any weird voltage variations since we also have a whole house generator.

I just purchased a P4 but it won’t be here till next week. Any chance you could snap a couple pics of the old power block and the new one? It might help myself as well as others that might run into similar problems. I have a few things plugged into backup power as well and don’t want to get stumped ! Thanks !!

The first one was made by Intertek. The 2nd one that had better interference filters is made by Globtek. Look on the back of the brick for the manufacturer name.

I’m having the same issue with my just opened ProfiLux. I’m just keen to know what @Vinny@GHLUSA told you about the power supply. In my current source, only maxi Doser and ProfiLux is plugged in using a power bar (not GHL).
Please help.

Look at the power brick that came with the Profilux. If it is not made by Globtek you have the wrong one and you need to contact Vinny and he will send you the power cord with the correct brick attached to it.
