They are too docile for me..
What would my flame angel do to these guys.
I have an anemone and would love to add a pair :)

I love designer clowns. Besides the all-whites.

I do have two normal pair of clowns in my tank and I like them also.

But if you're talking about a $7000 designer clown some people are trying to push...YEAH RIGHT LOL.

I think $7000 looks better in my pockets compared to a 2" fish.

A lot of designer clowns occur naturally, as far as I'm concerned they are natures art. I will admit that I just can't get behind a few of them, stubbies and long fins just to name a couple, but for the most part I really dig the designer clowns as long as good breeding practices are utilized. A cool pattern on a deformed fish does nothing for me.

I like them all, specifically when they are small. Those guys are so cute when they move.....when they get big, specifically the female ones...the bodies turn ugly. I keep changing clowns due to this reason ;-)
I do not like clown fish that do not know how to host but I have not had 1 like that. All the clowns I have had host something. However, I notice the wild caught clowns seem to enjoy the nem more than the designer clowns

I
I like some and dislike some, but in the end you can't beat the sharp lines of a natural standard clownfish.

Im with you although I'm also guilty of having a fancy pair of clowns

I love the beauty of natural clowns. some of the designer clowns are ok, but to me some are just butt ugly.

I am partial to the classic but there have been a few individual fancy ones I've liked.

Did nature create the best design or has one of these mutations topped the beauty of a natural clownfish

I don't care for the artificial mutants. :D

I'm happy to have tank bred clowns in my tank but glad they're natural coloration which I prefer. However in reality the designer clowns are no different than all the over bred dogs. To each his own.

I like a mild miss bar just cause it's different keeps the sharp lines and colors. I don't care for the long fin and most designer clowns. To me true precs have great line definition and color contrast, by far my favorite.
