I have a rather large one coming on Thursday. Do I need to put him on the bottom for a few days or should I just go ahead and put him mid level in my tank?

3 Kessils a360WE they slowly ramp up to 75% intensity and back down starting at 9am-8pm. Mid tank would be about 18” under the lights. It’s a 180 6’x 24”x24”

Honestly I don't think they care that much. Mine is currently sitting at 300ish par under LED used to be ~180. I had to move a rock and tore the whole thing off by accident. Couple of days it was looking better than ever. Within a week a couple pieces that remained on the rock started sprouting new polyps.

Okay, that's good to hear! Thanks
