I recently up graded my RO unit to 75gl. a day, and added a refillable DI cartridge from BRS, to my coralife DI canister. The canister in old DI unit use to be full of water when running . With the upgrade the canisters empty. and the water just flows up through the resin, and the canister stays empty. Is this normal or do I have a problem somewhere???

Turn water on to filter, and unscrew the DI cartridge that isn't filling up just enough that it will begin to fill with water and let the air escape. Should stay filled from than on.

Thanks, Kellyjn. I'll give that a try after dinner. I'll let you know how it goes later. thanks again.

What you see is normal and not a problem. The water travels up through the DI resin from the bottom, inside the cartridge so it does not have to fill up on the outside.
A quick trick to watch this is attach a piece of hose or tubing to the DI outlet then raise it above the level of the DI filter and watch the housing fill then lower it down and watch it drain. It is siphoning out by gravity and normal. Even if you fill the housing it will drain again, no biggie.
