Dialing in a Skimmer

IM Nano BioSkim DC. Been running it for like a week. It skims, but it is currently letting foam escape from the collection cup around the middle. Am I doing it wrong? Or is this just a mediocre product? Any recommendations for a better nano-skimmer? Much appreciated!

IMHO, these are quite possibly the worst designed nano skimmers on the planet. The only way I found to fix these from constantly leaking foam was to place a thick (flat) rubber band around first and then add the rubber O-ring after.

Good tip, I will try it. I just bought some broccoli so I should have a big thick rubber band available.
