Diamond Goby Litter Box?

Hi guys,

Weird one. My Diamond Goby, besides carefully moving a large quantity of my sand to the center rock formation to create a fortress of solitude (this is normal behavior), has surprised me by intentionally going to the front left corner of my tank exclusively to defecate. From a lot of observation, he only poops there. Now: I don't mind. When he happens to do it at a time that my turbulence pattern is elsewhere in the tank, it's super easy to remove it.

I even think it's pretty cool. But has anyone seen this sort of behavior before? (PS - it's also naturally the furthest spot from the fortress of solitude)
