Diamond Goby Price??

Just bought a 3.5 inch Diamond Goby from LFS. $90.
Is this normal? I’m in NC but my gosh I thought they were more around 30-40 dollar mark. I was surprised.

Please let me know when f this is average because I can drive another hour and get much more selection and prob better prices.

I was just looking at online vendors and they seem to be in the $35- $45 range. So I would assume it’s a bit high.

High price but look at it this way, he’ll save you $30 in time cleaning your sand bed. Very cool fish but your LFS made a 2x on him/her.

If you’re in Greensboro NC and go to Reef Architects, hide your wallet. Honestly can’t believe he charged me $90 for this Goby. Oh well, his loss. I have money and I love this hobby. He just lost what would have been a very loyal customer. All the while he supposedly a Christian and has employees , including his children seeing him treat people like that. Sad!
I guess we live and learn. I’ll make it a point to spread the word now. Word of mouth is a powerful thing when it comes to business.

Yup that's him mine was alittle bigger when it was bought it grows fat mysis brine Hikari marine a. Anything. He's looking for copes pods to. Eat so once a while buy some cope pods the bigger ones tiger tiger maby 1a month I dump in some tiger pods or bury pellets in the sand that usually keeps him busy or else he will do it all day mess up everything lol is u have coral in the sandbed

Unfortunately, greed is still very common in our stores than being fair. You just need to take your money elsewhere. Sorry about the expensive Goby! Maybe his antics will be worthy of paying double!!!
