Just started today. She isnt thin and everyone else is doing fine. Salinity is good. Tank is 9 months old. Tonight shes still alive but she didnt bury her hole before bed. Any idea of what could be wrong? I really love this fish

Did she eat pellets or frozen with the other fish? I have a links goby that significantly decreases sand sifting after having some taste on frozen food...Now he eats like the other fish every day -- swimming to the surface and waiting to be fed 🙃

Sadly she did not come out today. Im extremely worried and sad.

She does get frozen food with the rest and she is not starved for sure. But i fear something has happend unless there is some sort of thing they do that i dont know about. But this is way out of her norm. Plenty of oxygen making it into the water. No spikes. Nothing makes sense. She looked healthy. But i also couldnt go up to the tank without her running into her hole

I'm having similar thoughts to what StartingATank mentioned above. Also, maybe check if any fish/creatures have invaded her hole. That can make the diamond goby feel insecure.

Really sorry to hear that. Do you think any fish might have been messing with it?
I dont know. The most i could think would be the emerald crab. Idk. Im super sad because i did find her dead. Just because they are fish doesnt mean we dont get attached and love them. The was red under her head with a gash in her side but that could be from after she died. Seemed like her issue started a couple days before and she became scared of everything. I wish i knew how to prevent this from ever happening again.
