I have have a Diamond goby for 1 and a half years. He unexpectedly died today, and I don’t know why. My nitrates are pretty high — and we’re working on it. Is there anything I did to kill the fish? I feel very bad.

Thanks.

I love Diamond Gobies and love because they pair so easily. What I don't like is, they like Flasher Wrasses do not live very long. My longest was three years.

I had one that died after a year and a half and another that died after 3 months. I swore off of them after that and went with conch snails and haven't had a problem since (nor do I miss the tank sand storms).
