Getting ready to move and going to do a little upgrade with my tank after we get in the new house.

I have a Red Sea 170 now. Looking to go to the red sea 200XL.

However I found the innovative marine nuvo int 112 (lagoon) and 100.

My question is what's the difference in the (lagoon) compared to the normal 100?

Lagoon is shallower
They’re both 19.7” tall.

They’re both ‘pretty-tall’ lagoons in opinion. I don’t know what they’re trying to market as the difference between these tanks. But my best guess would be that the newer one could be marketed as a ‘lagoon’ to try to get more sales for shallow reefing lovers. IMO

And I am looking for a more shallow tank. I'm with you on the marketing thing.

I just looked at the specs of the IM tanks and it seems like in general they call a tank a lagoon if it's a "deep" tank. The lagoon tanks all provide more space front to back than a "regular" rectangular tank footprint.
