Are you referring to the bubblegum digitata on the right of the rock, looks fine to me. What so you mean closed up?

Heya photos from yesterday today a few of them just randomly closed (no polyps out) I was told maybe to much par however wouldn’t they have closed up right away? Not after a week. Sending off an icp just to check, and put the lights on acclimation they are currently under g5 xr15s on ab+.

Polyps not out for just one day caused you to 1) put the lights on acclimation, and 2) send icp report? To me this is over reaction. I would never change my lights for just one coral, you affect the entire tank for one coral.

More important that polyps out are sign it is growing, and yours look like its growing.

Sometimes they close for a day or two. Sometimes not.
Digis need more light than caps, IME. Caps fan out to collect so needing less as they have more surface to collect from.
270 par *should be good.
Personally, I would wait a week closed before doing anything. Make sure you have decent flow, indirect flow.

Icp is due to switching over dosing products a few weeks ago to make sure it’s all in balance, and yes I put the lights in acclimation. Less light won’t kill but if it is to high it will. I wouldn’t usually drop the lights but since a few of them closed not just one was my issue. As stated that photo was yesterday. Today they are closed, the information floating around is bubble gum digi prefer low light so I dropped them 10% to see if it was the light I don’t see an issue with this seems safer.

But anyway so in reality 250-300 should be fine. I was worried they might have came from low light and the day on the sand in my tank wasn’t enough time before I put them up high on the scape.
