I've never used a controller before, so I'm trying to figure things out as I go.
I have a Lite that I got and unfortunately the PB4 has a bad Relay rendering the Channel 1 plug useless.
So got a crazy deal on a Elite V2 that the kids and wife got me for Christmas. Came with Head Unit, 2 x PB4's, SL1 and SL2 and a temp probe. For a couple of dollars more than what people are asking for just a PB4.
I used the plug of the Temp probe to make a switch for a ATo. I figured I had the ITemp probe from the Lite. Thinking I could use that to setup my heater functions.

Can you use the Itemp probe with the Elite V2? I have both the SL1 and SL2 modules? But am trying to opt out of using the SL1 to save space, less wiring etc. I know with the Lite using a PB4 and the Sl1 module the ITemp was in the drop downs in MyReef 2.0 when setting up a heater. Not requiring you to use the "Temp" probe.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot use the iTemp (RJ-14 plug) with the Elite head unit, it'll only take a molex plug temperature probe.
