I upgraded my lights in late December from Fluval stock (13.5g Fluval Evo) to AI Prime HD. I burnt the tips of my digi initially, but since then it has recovered nicely with the exception of the tips. It's been over a month and I'm wondering if I should cut off the tips and allow the coral to regenerate over the fresh cut or just leave as is.

Before and after photos below.

Typical white tip new growth and now brown tips and no new tip growth. I also included a top down.

If there's algae starting to grow on the tips I would chop em off. Fresh cut will heal quicker than it trying to regrow over algae.
