Thanks,Could you list your nitrate and phosphate?
Also, if that is a bare bottom with dry rock, expect algae issues for the first 2 years possibly.
Running some Rowaphos now to lower the PO4.Thanks,
NO3: 5
PO4: 0.11
Yeah, not too many bubbles. My guess is cyano given the numbers you have and that I don't see as many air bubbles that I see with dinos. Try some chemiclean and see if it goes away. If you get the phosphate down and the nitrate a little up, that might help too.
Nice!!!!Three things got rid of my cyano:
1) Strong UV light
2) Started an Oxydator (look for threads on this site)
3) Phytoplankton every other day
Before and after pics (also have since increased the point light intensity by 15% on my Radions)
Lol, you may be right!!!That's a tag team of cyano and dino. (Pic 3)
I only have Turbo snails and they do eat this stuff but it grows back. What’s your cleanup crew like? I’ve notice that my trochus and cerith snails do wonders on my cyano
Just did, lol.
This time doing a 5 days blackout together with Chemiclean and Algaefix.
If this doesn't work I'm definitely resetting.
Being that I don't have any corals in the tank yet the blackout won't hurt. The time we used algaefix at the lfs I worked at part time, we didn't do a blackout. You could try that first and run your lights at the lowest setting rather than a blackout.
