Hi All,

Went away for 5 weeks on vacation and came back to a mess of tanks!

Tank is 3 years old, well established. Fought off LCA dinos about 6 months ago.

This single cell organism has a lot more chloroplasts and is about 1/4 the size of the LCA that I had before.

It doesn't have any amour from the way it easily changes it's body shape.

I'll get my closed loop UV setup again to start the battle and dose some water glass to get the diatom population up.

Thanks in advance for the help in id!

Thanks for confirming... now on to my research on how to deal with it. Got to be easier than dino. Fingers crossed.
Dealing with euglena...almost ready to blackout ...been dosing pods and live phyto daily ..FMarin Rebiotic twice weekly - whites of blues reduced - beat back but not gone... did you manage to eradicate them? if so - how? Thanks for any insight

@Island Goby I beat them back with a few 48hr blackouts spaced out by 2 weeks between them. Still there in sand in a few spots, but very minimal and not causing any issues. sand sifting goby is getting quite fat!
fantastic!!! thanks for the update...they seem harmless just sooo ugly...looks like blackout in my future
