Thinking I would put the review in its own thread.

TLDR: So far (about a month using them) I think i have enough data points to say i'm very happy with this purchase feature wise and price wise. For less than 1400 USD including shipping upfront and 5 cents per test on going, Im able to free my hands from testing all the elements im watching and wake up to a set of results for calcium, magnesium, nitrate and phosphate while alkalinity is tested at 6pm (these times are preconfigured and not yet customisable) and potentially auto correct alk, calcium and magnesium. For noise level, Decibel X measures 60db at peak while my room with open window in city centre is 45db and my skimmer is 50 db. its not bad on the paper but with high pitch noise, but its definitely noticeable tho it wouldnt wake me up.

I start a thread wanting to have some comment on the Dipper Converge Auto Tester for nitrate and phosphate and Auto Tester and Doser for Alk/ca/mg a month ago but it seems like im the first one to try it out, so heres my 2 cents.

I have received and set up nitrate and phosphate tester end of last year and been running daily auto testing. I cross check the results against hanna and they are consistent with each other tho dipper always shows a higher reading which i decided to calibrate down a week ago. A detailed first impression review is in the original thread and pretty much everything there apply to both units and followup review can be found here. Each test takes ~10 mins to complete but they can take their time i dont need to watch loll. At time of writing, I still have 54.22/60mL reagent left for both nitrate and phosphate and >80/100mL reagent left for the other three tho i wasted quite a bit calibrating the micro pump, but a bottle should last me at least half a year or closer to 10 months.

I received Auto Tester and Doser for Alk/ca/mg a few days later and it has been up and running since 2nd Jan. The absolute raw results of all three are well off the result from hanna alk and salifert/triton icp calcium and magnesium but consistent with itself, so I calibrated against those. (off the topic for a bit, I was out for a vacation for last week and its saying my alk has dropped 2 dkh from 8.8 to 6.8 within a week. I thought it has lost its mind but today i returned home and checked hanna and got a 6.6.........so hey its pretty accurate but i really dont know what has happened. My alk has been sitting at ~9 for a long while. Theres no new addition for a while. No water change during the period. I have double checked salinity, my AFR doser and kalk doser all performing just fine. A friend of mine is feeding every other day with just some pellets and life phyto. What could have soaked up all these alk anyone???? but this also just gives me more confidence in the unit hehe)

On a side note, since Im dosing Tropic Marin AFR and kalk on my jebao doser and alk and ca were both stable, I haven't decided if I would use the auto adjustment/dosing feature on this unit (but with the recent alk swing i might consider give the auto correction a go) or just use them as ordinary doser for other traces which can be configured to dose upto 12 times a day, so I haven't test/set up the dosing part, but if auto dosing is enabled, it would automatically test the element twice a day at a preconfigured time in addition to any auto testing schedule configured.

I think its app have a lot of room for improvement, but its getting its job done mostly (eg the notification addon within the app for test result outside defined range only display within the app rather then pushing to the phone so i need to keep checking everyday).

A few people have asked where to find it, this is the manufacturer store but i purchased thru a distributor on the same site with a slight discount thru the platform (as the manufacturer mentioned they dont discount on the product so distributor would have the exact same listing price)

I have never auto dosed anything. And am seriously contemplating freeing up some of my time. Thanks for this info.
