Hey,

Hope everyone is doing good.

Tomorrow I am going to pick up some coral colonies from a local hobbyist.
I am planing on getting a few Zoa and Acropora colonies.
I have some ReVive Coral Cleaner that I have used on zoas and anemones.
Should/can I use that on Acropora?
What is the best thing to use when Dipping Acropora?
Do you even think it is necessary to dip these corals because they’re coming from an established tank.

Thanks

Hope your nem is ok ... you shouldn't dip them in Revive :frowning-face:

I think you'll find that most coral growers/farmers advise against it since they aren't corals and pests don't attach to them. I have bought a few nems fromTidal Gardens and Than himself told me not to dip a stressed anemone. But I'm glad yours is doing great. Yayyy :)

Hi. It’s good practice to dip all corals no matter where they are coming from. It’s a practice that I use and I’m sure a few other sps keepers. The revive dip for soft corals, zoas is fine. However it’s a bit harsh for sps. I’d use KCL. From my experience. Good luck.
