Dipping New Frags!

Ya, full 'advised' strength, i should clarify. 5:1 for 1 minute, is how i use it.
I've used it at double strength hundreds of times. I do that for stuff like zoas and easy LPS. Regular 5-1 on SPS and sensitive coral. I also do like Bayer for SPS. And I try and remove any plugs I can.

Yeah, i try to. But also when buying online you have no idea what the tanks look like either. Just looking for the general accepted procedure I suppose.
It’s a bad sign. If you have no choice, then I’d QT that stuff for a month.

I’m not sure any dip removes or kills every potential pests, but, starting with what looks clean lowers the risk of unwanted infection.

Good to know! I feel like i would need to work my way into a qt. I am a newbie with a nano lol. Just trying to give my nano as good a chance at success as possible.
A coral QT doesn't need to be much. If you need help with it, let me know :)

Appreciated! I just feel like my 13.5 display is basically a qt at this point, because I only have a few frags in and no real valuable livestock. Once I get some established corals I might be more inclined to do so.
