Dipping question

I'm picking up these mushrooms and they are attached to rock, can I still dip with coral Rx dip and rince in aquarium water before putting into my display?

I use Revive. Same idea. I treat all coral, rocks or plugs. Wish there was a way to save the amphipods that fall off but I'm not risking the DT.
