Just placed my 1st fish in my tank, its a small damsel. It was doing great for the first 2 days, then poof, its gone! Can not find/see it anywhere. I have about 105lbs of dry rock in the display, it is fairly cavernous. Is it common for fish to get stuck somewhere in there and not make their way out??

Can't see a damsel getting stuck. It's either dead or hiding/unhappy

My damsel disappeared on me too. Moved some rock and found him hiding. Most likely stress has him insecure in the new surroundings. Hopefully he’s okay

Small fish will find countless places to hide; and if it dies the carcass will be reduced to nothing in no time.
