Just wanted to share a frustrating experience I had with LiveAquaria in case it helps others.
I placed an order for a specimen they showed as available on their site. After checkout, I received an email saying they couldn’t ship the order because the item wasn’t actually in stock, and they had no idea when it would be available. No ETA, no option to backorder with confidence—just a generic apology and a note saying I could cancel if I wanted.
I get that livestock availability can change, but it’s frustrating that they’re still listing items for sale that aren’t even in their facility. It feels like they’re prioritizing taking orders over being transparent with their customers. I ended up canceling the order out of frustration.
