I have a clown tang that has a brownish discoloration on both of its sides and I’m not sure what it is. It is hard to get a picture or even see what’s going on very well as the fish is always moving. It is eating and it seems to be acting normally. Any ideas?
It is currently in a 75g quarantine tank with a purple tang and an orange shoulder as well as a Niger triggerfish, a pajama cardinal, and a spotted hawkfish. They all seem to get along. I have salinity at 1.025, copper level at 6.0. They have nearly completed a 30 day treated quarantine. I noticed this a while ago and thought he might have injured himself but am now noticing it on both sides.
I feed them frozen rods and lrs for herbivores as well as nori seaweed. Thanks for your help.
