Dear all,

I'm planning my 50g lifestock at the moment.
Already in there are 2 ocellaris, cleaning crew and in a few days a green spotted mandarin will join.

After reading through here, I thougt a pair of royal gramma could be a nice addition

What else would you add that swims on top a bit more and is colorful? A display fish so to say...

Court Jester Goby
Sixline Wrasse

Not as colorful but a cool looking fish is the Banggai Cardinalfish

6 line wrasses are often terrible community fish. If you want a good display wrasse I would look into a Lubbock's Fairy Wrasse or one of the smaller Halichoeres Wrasses (ie Yellow, Red-Lined, Christmas).

Here is an example of a Lubbock's:

Many thanks all. Sixline is a no no, the negative reviews are endless. In the end, I decided to go with a coral beauty couple

Good looking fish. Just keep an eye on them if you have zoas in the tank. They are considered reef safe with caution. I had one that was a good citizen and didn't eat coral. I sold him to a friend and he started nipping at zoas almost from day one!

Is it fowlr or are planning corals? If you’re not adding corals, coral beauty or a flame angel will definitely add color.

Basslets are a good choice. They don’t mess with anything. I added a chalk bass to mine and he basically glows neon blue and red under the lights. Always out and all over the tank. Great flash of color.
