I have the huge Bio-Pellet Reactor that I'm not using. My question is can I turn this into a cheato Reactor if I was to throw some grow lights on the side of it?

Would think it should work despite a little light blocking from acrylic sides, but never tried it. I've used Red Ogo with $3.50 LED 5k lightbulb, if you're looking to keep your experimenting costs way down. My chaeto broke up, wasn't replaced, so while chaeto should also be fine with same lightbulb, don't have personal experience. Got idea from this post:
