Mesh, screen, foam. Anything you've got on hand to keep it from being sucked in.

If its moving, there is too little flow and even light which causes them to move closer t the source. Temporarily, you can use gutter mesh:

Ok, though he was in that spot for months. Maybe he wasn't feeling it. Who knows. The rbta he was next to is still in his spot.
