I bought a 500ml/m double head peristaltic 24v pump. I also bought a 24v inverter. If this works I should be able to change 1.5 gallons in less than 10 min. I bought cheap aliexpress items for the test run. Should have this up and running by next week with test results and accuracy report. I will let you all know if this works and how well.

I will be curious to see how well this works!

It's Alive!!!! 6min 40 sec for one gallon tested both ways. Now I need to mount and do some soldering. Bouth the pump and the 24v ac to dc inverter from aliexpress.

fallowing!
I have 2 tanks I want to do AWC on.
whats controlling this? is it just on a timer?

thanks for doing this. always nice to see other ways to do it. :)

Right now I'm using a on off switch. I will be buying a hydros and when I get that it will be automated. I want to make sure that this stays true to the time frame for about a month. So me using a switch and a timer on my phone will give me complete control. Once I'm sure it works then I will put it on a controller. But for know I will turn it on while I'm feeding so almost perfect timing for 1.5 gallons a day. Also this has cost me less than 50 dollars so win!

any updates on this? did you measure accuracy of each way?
What size lines are on these pumps? i can find a double head but it is the small tubing
Looking at doing something similar.
