how do you have the hole for the 1/4 connection, is the container already have the hole or you drill the lid?
Thanks, great looking container.

I use the Jebao DP4. I have not notice any loss over the last 2 weeks.

So far so good. I've had it on about 17 days and it works very well. Turns on right on time and doses the proper amount. I will probably check the calibration this weekend just to make sure.

Just FYI, Tervis makes clear straws which should work for this project. You can find them at Bed Bath and Beyond for $3.99 for a six pack.

i got a question on this.

why use a straw and a fitting kit?
why not just drill a hole and put the pipe straight into the container?
that leaves out any room of air leak since there is no connection.

just trying to understand the purpose behind adding a straw/connector.

The fitting is to be able to be removed for cleaning. I attached the airline tubing to a piece of RODI line and that way I am able to take the container out and clean it without taking out the straw (less mess:D).
