I made a compact battery backup for my two mp10s. I realize the battery I used is about a third the size of the Ecotech. As such, my two mp10s will run for a little more than 10 hours. I had space constraints and needed a smaller option than the Ecotech. I know this won't work for mp40s or mp60s the way I built it but given the right battery case and property battery size, the concept still applies.

Total price was $76.18 (includes sales tax and shipping)

My parts list consists of :
1. CURT 52022 6-Inch x 5-1/2-Inch x 3-1/4-Inch Lockable Trailer Breakaway Battery Case

2. Charity Battery 12V 5Ah CB1250 Rechargeable SLA Sealed Lead Acid Replacement Battery

3. FLHFULIHUA 12 Volt Charger for Kids Ride On Toys 12 Volt Universal Battery Charger for Best Choice Products Wrangler SUV Kid Trax Dynacraft with Charging Indicator Light

4. Fancasee (4 Pack) 3.5mm x 1.35mm Female DC Power Jack Socket Panel Mount 2 Pin Solder Type Metal Power Supply Jack Connector Adapter Socket

5. 10pcs (5 Sets) 5 Positions Dual Row 600V 25A Screw Terminal Strip Blocks with Cover + 400V 25A 5 Positions Pre-Insulated Terminals Barrier Strip (Black & Red) by MILAPEAK

6. DZYDZR 2pcs 1 Meter 1.35mm x 3.5mm DC Extension Cable Black 22 AWG Copper Wire Male to Male Plug Max 24V 3A (3.3ft)

7. Fancasee (4 Pack) 5.5mm x 2.1mm Female DC Power Jack Socket Panel Mount 2 Pin Solder Type Metal Power Supply Jack Connector Adapter Socket

8. Some 18AWG wire

9. F1 style wire connectors

There’s multiple YouTube videos on this very subject. Also this has been posted here several times before. Easy to search.

It was really easy to do. Drill some holes. Solder some connectors. Plug and play.
